This year, we had a small BBQ at our house. I was excited to check out the festivities in the neighborhood this year since we were still in our old house for the holiday last year. Being on a cul-de-sac makes it perfect for firework viewing. And for the record, the street was poppin’ off. So much fun š The kiddos did great in the kiddie pool and got a B+ for handling the noisy fireworks. Sadly, Alex got his first bad virus the following day, so I’m glad he was a trooper for the party….and that none of the other kids got sick.
