I can’t believe how this 6 months have flown by. The time is racing on, but his milestones make it so much sweeter to watch. Here are some of his current stats:
16 lbs. 7 oz (40th percentile)
27″ long (75th percentile)
17.5″ head (50th percentile-although it looks as if it should be 90th)
He is a great eater of all veggies and has tried bananas and apples….and maybe a lil’ beef stew. He continues to be a fantastic sleeper which makes me love him so much more. haha He can almost sit up all by himself and tries to reach forward. I’m not quite ready for crawling yet. I still have not baby proofed this house yet….which reminds me, I need to do that. His first word was “Da-da” as of 1/20. I was driving home when he started saying it. Strangely, that and when he’s fresh out of the bath are his favorite times to say it. Random, I know. His drooling is out of control right now and he goes through at least two shirts a day. I don’t see any teeth poking though, but I have a feeling its coming soon. Alex laughs a lot (sounds like a mix between Daffy Duck and Beavis & Butthead), especially when Grandma sings “Bonanza”.
