Plumbing – day 2

More holes, but more progress. The hall bath has a fully functioning tub and shower. Can’t wait to wash my hair tomorrow morning!!! And the kids bath time was hella quick because the water came SHOOTING out of the faucet. Even Alex yelled, “Whoa!!!”
The plan for the holes is to place the cut out pieces back in place, use drywall tape, sand it, then we paint it at god knows what point in time.
Chuck Norris told us that the whole house had severely clogged pipes. Over the years, the minerals in our water had built up and hardened leaving practically a pin hold size passageway. I seriously can’t believe we’ve made it this long on the pipes we had. And thankfully, with all the crawling around under the house they’ve been doing, no other issues have come up. I was nervous because a few minor leaks were discovered but nothing that caused wood rot or anything. Thank god. These pics below are of the laundry room, hallway, my closet, the master bath tub spout missing, and under the sinks. It’s only halfway looking like a meth house right now so I can’t really complain. And besides, taking a shower in my bathroom far outweighs any mess or painting I have to deal with. Thanks, Chuck!
