One more down! The number 4 doesn’t really hold much weight for me, but the fact that this summer will mark 7 years of being together really hits me. It sounds like a long time to me. Thinking back to the night I met Henry always makes me smile. I always say to myself, “man, I had no idea how that night was going to forever change my life.” It seemed like a normal night of going out for drinks with Amy. Little did I know that funny bartender would one of the best things to come my way. Here we are…4 years into marriage…a house, 2 bars, almost 2 kids, & many more wrinkles and gray hair later. Blows my mind sometimes. We celebrated with a simple night out for dinner and it was great. There might have been some winking and hand holding involved. And he surprised me at work with some awesome flowers. Flowers don’t come very often so it truly was a surprise. He got a new wallet. Not as romantic, but it was very much needed. And isn’t it the thought that counts? We didn’t take any pics of each other that night, but enjoy a few of our YUMMY dinner that night.
