I’m a bit tardy on this post but I wanted to wait until we went to the Dr. for her 2 month stats.
Weight: 10 lbs 6 oz (40th %)
Height: 22 inches long (40th %)
Fun facts about Chloe….
1) She has sweaty feet. And has my long toe!

2) She can smile and giggle…if mommy tickles the right spot.

3) She has learned to love her carseat and now sleeps happily as long as the car is moving. (this is just her being happy in her seat)

4) She sleeps better on her side. O-U-T!!

5) When you put her pacifier in her mouth, she takes both arms and hugs your hand VERY tight. And sometimes she’ll hold your finger and squeeze it over and over again like she’s milking a cow. Like she’s a cat making her bed comfy.

6) Being outside keeps her quiet. What is it about being outdoors??
7) She has the hiccups about once a day, at least.
8) She loves being smooched on. I can literally kiss her 20 times on the face and she doesn’t make a peep. I keep waiting for her to start crying from too many kisses, but it never comes. So then I keep going…..
9) If you hold her over your shoulder, she finds her arm and starts sucking.
10) When she’s in a deep sleep, she’ll make a little “kitten noise” with every exhale. Its like a soft little “mm” noise. Just delicious.
Nicknames. And you know we love nicknames:
LoLo (from chLOe) Alex can say this one easily too.
Bubbie – this came from Alex from the moment she came home.
Nooka – derived from Snooki but Henry refused to allow that one. 🙂
Luca or Buca – No idea where this came from. I feel like our nicknames are mostly just random noises combined.
Even though her first 2 months have passed in the blink of an eye, its always fun to see a bit of personality peek through. The smiles are coming all the time which is always fun to validate that I’m hilarious. She watches Alex as if she knows who he is and what he’s up to. And even though I LOVE tiny babies, I can’t wait to see them play together and to hear their conversations. What a trip that’ll be. I realize you can’t pick the sex of your kids, but having a boy and a girl is so much more satisfying that I could have imagined. The house just feels balanced and I am really counting my blessings right now. I would take one extra year of her being a baby though 🙂
