Last weekend was all about family. Saturday night was my Grandfather’s 95th birthday. NINETY-FIVE. Holy crap. Aside from his eyesight, he’s doing amazingly well. My Uncle Stan was in town from San Diego, so that was extra cool. He made sure to get in some cuddles with Chloe. She will oddly sit still if you read her some books. Alex never did that at her age, but she is relaxed and just melts into you. Pretty kewl. The night was lots of food and lots of fun. 
Then on Sunday, we went to Simon & Alina’s for dinner. They just bought a beautiful new house and this was our first time over there since they moved in. The kids were running around the yard pretty much the entire time we were there. All sweaty and itchy from the grass. I love these four kids together. It makes me grin from ear to ear thinking about them in their teenage years. You know its going to be the Mari and Chloe show. They are so lucky to have cousins that are so close in age AND that live only 5 minutes away. Big families are the best!
