This is a little late, but Mother’s Day is always worth the recognition no matter what. It was a mish mash of a holiday since we threw Chloe’s birthday party the day before. Its a little challenging to throw two parties back to back. But with a few loads of dishes in the dish washer and a well stocked fridge, it can be done. We had my family and my in-laws over for brunch. I cooked mini quiches and sausage. And the rest of the gang brought doughnuts, fruit, and champagne. Not a bad meal, eh? I got lots of flowers, cards, and a massage that I have yet to redeem. Soon I hope. Its been almost a year. A YEAR since my last massage. I can’t wait for the time in my life where I have the resources to go monthly. Shit is magic and makes everything better. Last year Chloe was born during our “would have been Mother’s Day Brunch”. Glad I didn’t miss out on the festivities this year. This was a bit more enjoyable than having your privates sown back together. Just sayin’. All hail all you mommies out there!! You rock!
