Last weekend we took Alex to a River Cats game. First off, I want to note that an outing with a 3 year old is SO MUCH easier than having both kids. He really is an easy kid. We dropped the diva off at my folks’ house and got to have a nice lil date with the boy. It was such a lovely warm night, just perfect game weather. I swear, if we hadn’t engaged Alex in conversation, I don’t think we would have heard a peep from him. He was so into the game it was hilarious. Obviously, he wore his mitt and every few minutes he would raise his arms and say, “Ohhh, base hit!!” He was right about that only 50% of the time. It was so sweet and I could tell that he was having the best time that it just made my heart grow 100x. Next time, I’m going to go on a Sunday so he can run the bases. His head might explode. Is 3 years old too early for a personal baseball coach??
