This morning’s Q & A

As I’m putting on make up this morning, this convo took place:

Alex: Mom, why you gotta go to work?
Me: Because I have to.
Alex: Why?
Me: Because I have to make money.
Alex: To pay for things?
Me: Yes
Alex: Like pizza?
Me: Yes, like pizza.
Alex: Mom, I’m sick. I have the adergies.
Me: You have allergies?
Alex: Yes. I was sneezing SO MUCH.

The constant questions drive me nuts most of the time, but we often forget we are teaching them everything there is to know about everything. Daunting task. Least I know I’ve taught my kid you need a job to pay for pizza! Sheesh.
