Bugga is 3 months old today. As you can see, she’s stunningly good looking. We get lots of smiles and if I nibble the right spot on her ribs, I get the most adorable giggles. She continues to be a good snuggler and sleeper. But I will report, she did not like my return to work last week. On Saturday, she refused to nurse for almost the entire day. According to Google, its called a “nursing strike” due to a sudden emotional change. I know it seems a bit crazy, but the suggestions for getting the baby back on track, actually worked. Mom – 1 Diva – 0. She also has started chewing on her hands and drooling a ton. Its not teeth of course, but I remember the drooling with Alex and its gross. I hated covering up cute baby outfits, with lame ol’ bibs. I continue to try and teach her “Mama” daily. I WILL win this one.
In other news, her cry has also progress to a full on scream if she really gets going. That’s always fun. Since I’ve been back to work, I’m trying to get her on a feeding schedule so I know how much milk I need to leave behind. Right now, we are doing 4 oz every 3 hours. I’m sure she could do a little more, but I don’t want to blow through the stash I built up in my freezer and she seems to be ok with that for now.
Alex continues to be a great big brother. Gentle for the most part and very lovey. Chloe definitely recognizes him and will give him some smiles and try to touch his face. He thinks this is hilarious. Those two are going to be quite the pair later on. Enjoy the pics!!
