The birthday celebrations were minimal this year. I just didn’t have the time or energy to throw a big bash with friends or family. I don’t need a huge to-do for my birthday. I’m happy with a good meal and my man. The weekend before my birthday I got to hang out with my college girls. I got a couple… Read more →

SSU Reunion 2013
In the fall of 1998, I embarked on the greatest adventure…college at Sonoma State. While I still make student loan payment on the classes I took, I also continued the friendships I made in Solano 504. I lived with Nikki, Missy, and Sarah. And a few years later, along came Kate. I can honestly say, these girls and these friendship… Read more →

Father’s Day
Father’s Day was a very casual affair this year. I invited my in-laws and parents over for pizza. Everyone brought a side dish and it turned out to be one hell of a dinner! We stuffed ourselves, exchanged cards, kids played and we had a very nice evening. Henry got some clothes, a handmade card, and a funny interview by… Read more →
River Cats – June 15, 2013
Last weekend we took Alex to a River Cats game. First off, I want to note that an outing with a 3 year old is SO MUCH easier than having both kids. He really is an easy kid. We dropped the diva off at my folks’ house and got to have a nice lil date with the boy. It was… Read more →
Mother’s Day
This is a little late, but Mother’s Day is always worth the recognition no matter what. It was a mish mash of a holiday since we threw Chloe’s birthday party the day before. Its a little challenging to throw two parties back to back. But with a few loads of dishes in the dish washer and a well stocked fridge,… Read more →
